The amount of sea-ice often used as an indicator of global warming..is stabilizing..actually increasing in the Northern Hemisphere and approaching what may be an all-time high in the Southern Hemisphere.
The National Snow and Ice Data Center reports that during March, the total ice pack in the Northern Hemisphere was greater than it's been in the last four years although still slightly below the 30-year seasonal average.
Meanwhile the extent of sea-ice in the Southern Hemisphere is up nearly 29 percent over their 30-year average and a full 10 percent over the previous record-year of 1994.
