The US Senate is expected to vote tonight on whether to get the actual health care debate started. Count Senator John Cornyn as a no vote. “I don’t see much good in this bill. It’s really a squandered opportunity.” Cornyn says there are opportunities to improve the system but he says any bill that will make costs go up and not down as he believes this bill will do isn’t the right thing to do. He isn’t sure yet if enough Democratic arms have been twisted to get the 60 votes needed to actually start the debate.
