A growing number of patients at local children's hospitals are adults. Dr. Joann Sanders, patient safety officer at Cook Children's in Fort Worth says they're patients with disease typically found in pediatric patients. They don't have exact numbers on how many adult patients are at Cook. Children's Medical Center in Dallas reports a similar trend.
