Counselors are at a Dallas high school after a student is killed during a band trip to Austin.
About 2:30 this morning 17-year old James Kings a Booker T. Washington Magnet School Student was found dead along the lower portion of I-35 in Austin near the University of Texas campus.  
Police say it was a hit and run accident and they don't know who the driver was.  As to why a high school student was along that stretch of road at that hour Austin Police Officer Venessa Aguinaga says detectives are investigating.
Kings was in Austin with the school's Latin Jazz Ensemble and only yesterday had played at the capital and before the State Board of Education.
