Heavy Rain Causing Mudslides In North Texas

It's been rainy and cold all day and the wet weather won't let up anytime soon.  The forecast calls for precipitation to continue.  The heavy rain is not only creating havoc on North Texas roadways  - it's also bringing another hazard with it, mudslides.
TxDot has reported 50 minor mudslides in seven counties since the rain began falling.
Cynthia Northrup-White with TxDot says the worst are at Highway 114 East in Trophy Club and at Interstate 30 at Belt Line Road in Grand Prairie.
Their crews are looking for more problems and she says the public has been very helpful in reporting any mudslide activity they come across.
