Prominent Tarrant County criminal attorney Jerry Loftin now needs a lawyer himself.  Loftin is up on misdemeanor assault charges because he's accused of kissing a Johnson County court reporter against her will in court last month.  Loftin says it's much ado about nothing, claiming he only blew a kiss while near the woman's cheek.  But she's pressing charges so the charge against him is called "...assault by offensive contact."  He goes on trial in October.
