A nine-year-old Lipan girl and her mother are among three people killed in a head-on crash in Palo Pinto County last night.  They died when an SUV crossed into on-coming traffic and smashed into their van just before 10 p.m.  The SUV driver also died on impact.  DPS investigators do not know why the SUV driver lost control as he came around a curve on FM 4 near Lipan.
