Luxury Theater Coming To North Texas

With the budgets of so many people pinched by sky-high gasoline and food prices it's a real gamble.  But a company out of California is banking on the fact that we will pay 35 dollars to see a movie.
Village Roadshow says it wants to build 50 complexes around the country over the next five years each one containing at least one "luxury" theater - complete with recliners, a full bar, gourmet food and valet parking.
One of the very first of these theaters will be built in Fairview south of McKinney.
The Chief Operating Officer says this has worked well in other countries and that there's no reason it can't work here too.
