Man Accused of Lying About Baby in Missing Car

Dallas police are accusing a man of lying about having a baby inside his missing car. Erick Zapeta was arrested when it turned out the baby had been safe at home the whole time. Police believe Zapeta wanted to speed the investigation up when he told officers that his one-year-old was in the car. Dozens of officers dropped what they were doing and began a wide-ranging search that included a police helicopter. When police found the car several hours later, the woman driving it said she had borrowed it from Zapeta in exchange for drugs.
