A man is now getting a hospital check-up after creating traffic tie-ups in Dallas for more than hour-and-a-half early this morning. Beginning about 3:30 a.m, the man led police on a stop-and-start pursuit on I-35 from Oak Cliff to Parkland Hospital. He stopped at least twice, once near the Trinity River bridge and then again at the Oak Lawn exit. At each stop, the man gestured wildly and yelled at police before getting back in his car and driving off again. Finally, he exited at Motor Street and drove himself to Parkland where police restrained him. He was admitted to the hospital for a mental evaluation. |
