Month Long DWI Enforcement Campaign Begins In Three Local Cities
Three local police departments kick off a month long DWI enforcement effort this evening.
It's no coincidence that Fort Worth, Arlington and Grand Prairie police are launching this now it's the height of prom and graduation season.
Grand Prairie Police Sergeant Eric Hansen says officers will be making DWI arrests along I-30, I-20 and Highway 360.
They have a zero tolerance for anyone under the age of 21 and can be charged with DUI for just a sip of beer.
This zero tolerance DWI push runs through June 8th and includes Memorial Day weekend.
