New Home Sales In DFW Do Not Match Up With National Drop
New home sales in Dallas/Fort Worth do not reflect the 1.8 percent drop seen nationally. Ted Wilson with Residental Strategies says home values staying steady here is helping to keep sales going along with specials home builders are giving to reduce existing inventory. He says with construction of new homes in Dallas-Fort Worth at it's lowest level in 14 years there isn't many new homes being built to replace the finished ones available.
He says once these finished homes are gone then builders will start putting up more custom homes for each individual customer.
