This weekend's Nastia Liukin parade in Parker is off because of all the rain this week. The Olympic gymnastics champion was to be honored in her hometown on Saturday. But Mayor Joe Cordina says the ground is so muddy there would be no place to park all the cars they're expecting. The National Weather Service estimates that as much as 12 inches of rain fell on parts of Collin County, including Parker, yesterday. Cordina says it'll take four or five days of dry weather before they can even think of re-scheduling the parade honoring Liukin who won the women's all-around gymnastics Gold Medal in Beijing last week.
