Plane Lands on Top of Another Plane

A small airport north of Fort Worth was closed this afternoon as investigators tried to figure out why one small plane landed right on top of another.
Northwest Regional Airport in Roanoke near I-35 and 1171 has only one runway.

Roanoke Deputy Fire Chief Brad Gowdy told KRLD.com that "We basically had one aircraft that was sitting on that runway for takeoff and we had another inbound aircraft land on top of that one."

Three people were involved in the accident. There were no serious injuries reported and neither plane seemed to be badly damaged, Gowdy said.
