Police Working With CPS To Help Teen Prostitutes

Family members of a 13 year old Dallas girl say they can't believe she got involved in prostitution.  Police believe the girl's 13 year old friend talked her into it, and that teenager is charged with compelling prostitution after an undercover sting at a Denton Drive nightclub.
Dallas Police Lt. Chess Williams says these children don't do this because they want to.  He says there's always an adult behind it somewhere and that's who they want to catch and prosecute.  Meantime, the Department's High Risk Victims Unit works to get these girls some help.  Lt. Williams says they are working closely with CPS to try and address the needs of these kids.
Lt. Williams says the program is unique among police departments and has a very good success rate.
