Poll Good News for Governor

They are probably doing a happy dance over at the Rick Perry for Governor office.  A new poll done by UT researchers shows the Governor with a lead over his rival Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison.  “Among our respondents Rick Perry is up by 12 (points), very close to 11 if you just look at primary voters.”  UT Pollster Jim Henson says however that 34 percent remain undecided and with the margin of error the race is a little closer than it sounds.  The poll, like an earlier one this summer, also shows that people really aren’t thinking about the Democratic race for Governor with over 70 percent undecided.
