Pre-owned Home Sales Down Around North Texas

Pre-owned home sales are down 11 percent from this time last year and condo sales are down 24 percent. That's according to a study from Texas A&M University.  One expert doesn't think this has to do with the bursting of the housing bubble anymore.
A&M Real Estate Center chief economist Mark Dotzur says there is a lot of doubt in the entire economy now caused by what we're hearing from the long presidential election.  Dotzur says there are a lot of threatening comments such as raising capitol gains taxes and punish the oil business.  This is causing a lot of potential buyers to sit on the fence.
Dotzur's belief is things won't turn around until after the election at the earliest.
