A local priest is leaving his church after it was discovered that he is not only gay, but had been featured on a website that supports gay priests. Father Arthur Mallinson, a longtime priest of the Dallas Catholic Diocese, only recently started his work at Saint Michael the Archangel Church in McKinney, after being transfered by the diocese from Saint Francis of Assisi in Lancaster.
He resigned from McKinney after complaints started to pour into the Dioceses' head office from around the country..about postings Mallinson had made on the internet. The gay priest support website later included pornographic pictures, but the dioceses says Mallinson stopped contributing before that happened.
