Jyoti Amge, believed to be the planet's tiniest girl, will be featured Thursday on the British television series "Bodyshock." The 15 year old Indian girl is 1-foot, 11 inches tall and sits at a specially designed desk at school. She weighs just 12 pounds...only 9 pounds more than she did at birth. She says she enjoys a relatively normal life, but has a difficult time with big textbooks. And she adds "I am proud of being small. I love the attention I get. I'm just the same as other people. I eat like you, dream like you. I don't feel any different."
Amge has a rare form of dwarfism. Achondroplasia affects an estimated one out of every 25,000 births and occurs in all races. Click here to see photos of Jyoti.
