Stillborn Baby Left Outside Dallas Fire House

Investigators are looking for the parents of an apparently stillborn infant left outside a northeast Dallas fire house on Sunday.  The baby was found inside a plastic bag left beneath a "Safe Place" sign at a fire station near Greenville and Royal.  Now, the medical examiner is running tests to see if the baby was born alive.  The Texas Baby Moses law permits parents to abandon a baby in places where professional help is nearby, such as hospitals and fire houses.  But the law only applies if the baby is left unharmed.
