Support Our Troops

KRLD and the Sewell Family of Dealerships encourage you to remember our troops and their families during the Holidays. Here are some of the ways you can help ...

  • To send a "Gifts from the Homefront" gift certificate which can be used by military personnel or family member at any PX/BX location around the world, click here
  • To send a message to a soldier or sailor in any branch of the service, click here.
  • Sign a virtual thank you card at www.defendamerica.com
  • If you would like to help fund care packages to be sent to our soldiers, click here.
  • To find out how you can help support the troops and their families through USA Freedom Corps, click here
  • The Gift of Groceries program helps meet the family needs of our Guard and Reserve troops fighting the war on terrorism.
  • Donate a calling card to help keep servicemembers in touch with their families at www.OperationUplink.org.

Another way you can help is to make a donation to one of the military relief societies:
  • Army Emergency Relief
  • Navy/Marine Relief Society
  • Air Force Aid Society
  • Coast Guard Mutual Assistance

Or, support the American Red Cross Armed Forces Emergency Services

If you have a family member or loved one deployed, click here to find out how to buy a Blue Star Banner to show your support.

The VFW's Military Assistance Program (MAP) is a quality of life initiative that focuses on easing the financial emergencies of deploying service members and supporting them and their family through the hardships of deployment. For more information on the VFW's Military Support Program, click here.

To make a donation to support the families of Texas troops, you may send a check (payable to VFW MAP) to:
    VFW Dept. of Texas
    PO Box 14468
    Austin, TX 78761
