Tarrant County Jail Workers Injured In Failed Inmate Escape

Two Tarrant County deputies and a maintenance worker are injured in a failed attempt by three inmates to escape.   It happened this morning in the jail above Fort Worth Police Headquarters.
Sheriff Dee Anderson says the trio assaulted two deputies and a couple maintenance workers while being moved to a recreation area.  He says there was no way for the inmates to escape.  A female deputy and a maintenance worker remain hospitalized from their injuries.  Among the inmates was  Erick Davila a suspect in the Fort Worth birthday party drive by shooting that left 5-year old and her grandmother dead.
