A horrible accident claims three lives near the Collin County town of Lavon this morning. Department of Public Safety Trooper Lonnie Haschel says an SUV that was traveling on Highway 205 crossed the center line and slammed into a van loaded with four people.
Haschel identifies those killed from the van as 42-year old Andrea Dunn of Nevada, and her parents 76-year old Joe McIlvain and his 74-year old wife Margaret. 4-year old Gabby Dunn was hurt in the wreck but will survive.
The two in the other SUV, 35-year old Tommie Chambers of Wylie and 15-year old Ariel Langford of Wylie are expected to recover.
