Tyler Woman Gets Life For Running Sex Club Featuring Children

TYLER, Texas (AP) _ A jury in Tyler today convicted an organizer of an East Texas swinger's club -- involving children.
Then jurors decided on life in prison for 29-year-old Shauntel Mayo of Tyler. She must serve a minimum 25 years before being eligible for parole.
Mayo was found guilty on charges that she forced three siblings, ages 7-10, to have sex with each other or perform sexual acts for club members who paid to watch.
Mayo was convicted of engaging in organized criminal activity and two counts of sexual performance of a child.
Mayo was sentenced to life on the organized criminal activity count, and 20 years apiece for the other two counts.
Her boyfriend, Jamie Pittman, earlier was convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
    Four defendants still face trial.
Children testified how Mayo and others began teaching them at age five how to dance and perform sex acts -- plus gave them drugs.
