Tuesday, the Volunteer Center of North Texas is looking for volunteers to participate in the Eldercare “Adopt-a-Grandma” program for the Visiting Nurse Association, which helps elderly people live with dignity and independence. Volunteers will be matched with seniors in areas close to their home that seek companionship. Schedules are made at the discretion of the volunteers, but volunteers are required to meet with seniors at least once a week for 2-3 hours.
