Parking Lot Rage On UT Campus

A UT Arlington student is under arrest accused of pointing a gun at another student on campus.
It may be a case of road rage, or more accurately parking lot rage. Assistant UTA police chief Rick Gomez says two men tried to get the same parking space.  Gomez tells KRLD, 'the guy who lost it approached the other driver and told him he was waiting for the parking space and that he was there first.  At that point the suspect reached into his glove box and pulled out a semi-automatic handgun."
Police found the student minutes later in the Fine Arts building. He's been arrested for aggravated assault. Police say he does not hold a concealed handgun permit.
