American Airlines Cancels All Flights In And Out Of DFW
DALLAS (AP) _ American Airlines says it has canceled its full schedule of flights into and out of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on Tuesday.
That's because of heavy rains and thunderstorms in the area.
Tim Wagner is a spokesman for the Fort Worth-based airline. He tells KRLD-AM in Dallas that it could take a day or two for American to return to its normal schedule.
Wagner said swirling winds had forced the evacuation of one of DFW's two air traffic control towers for about 10 minutes Tuesday morning.
