Heavy Weather Due In North Texas Today

North Texas is in the sights of some heavy weather that could develop this afternoon and continue well into the evening -- and even overnight. 1080 KRLD Chief Meteorologist Brad Barton says some of the storms could well be severe -- with very large hail, damaging winds, drenching downpours, cloud-to-ground lightning and even some tornadoes in the mix. North Texas -- including all of Dallas-Fort Worth -- is in a zone of Moderate Risk.
