A disease killing Oak Trees is invading North and Central Texas. It's called "Oak Wilt" and it's already killed more than a million trees. Carrie Atchison with the Texas Forest Service says it's spread by a beattle that attacks trees after they are pruned.
Carrie Atchison says, "We do have a problem especially in the spring time with people trimming their trees. It warms up and people get out in their yards and don't realize that the spring time is the most susceptible time to prune trees."
Atchison says the disease spreads quickly and kills fast.
