2007 marks Eric Nadel's 30th season as part of the Texas Rangers broadcasting and his 12th as the lead radio voice for KRLD and the Texas Rangers Radio Network. Eric was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and attended Brown University in Providence, R.I., where he earned a bachelor's degree in political science.

Before beginning his tenure with the Rangers in 1979, Eric was the radio voice for the Dallas Black Hawks hockey team and the Dallas Diamond women's basketball team. Eric was part of the radio and television broadcasts for the Rangers until 1981 and then teamed with the late Mark Holtz for the next 13 years on the Rangers Radio Network. In 1995 Eric became the lead voice for the club.

Eric also produces a special feature called "Page From Baseball's Past" that kicks off the game broadcasts during the Rangers season. Along with his radio and television work, Eric has written several books including "Texas Rangers: The Authorized History." In the off-season Eric sometimes can be found calling games in Latin America, as he has taught himself to speak fluent Spanish.

Eric was elected to the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991 and resides in Dallas with this wife, Jeannie.
