Cats Being Found Mutilated In Northeast Dallas

A warning for pet owners this morning. Another cat has been found mutilated in northeast Dallas the fourth one this month.
Cats are not safe in a quiet neighborhood near Skillman and Lovers. For the fourth time, a cat's mutilated body was dumped on a lawn, leaving neighbors furious and wondering who would do such a thing.
Dallas police have opened a criminal probe because the cats have been sliced open with such precision that it's impossible to believe they were mauled by another animal. For now, neighbors are warned to keep their pets -- especially cats -- on a short leash.
