5 Year-Old Leaves Denton Day Care; Ends Up At Hooters

In Denton a five year old boy disappeared from a day care center this week turning up at a Hooters restaurant a few blocks away.
It happened late Tuesday afternoon.  The boy told his teacher that he was going to the bathroom but slipped out of a fire exit instead.  He then crossed two busy streets on the I-35 service road stopping to buy a coke at a gas station and wound up in the Hooters parking lot.
It was about a hundred degrees at the time.
