Gasoline Prices Down, TRE Ridership Still Up

Gasoline prices are lower, but that's not slowing down ridership on the Trinity Railway Express.  "We have noticed a change and the ridership has continued to go up," TRE CEO Wayne Freisner said. He added, "We set a record last month in October, or last fiscal month, almost 330,000 passengers."  Thursday morning, the TRE carried its 20 millionth passenger since service began in 1996.
