Champagne Cork Injuries Increase On New Year's Eve

The local emergency room could be handling some unusual cases this New Year's Eve....eye injuries from popping champagne corks. UT Southwestern Dr. Dwight Cavanagh tells KRLD News, nationally, 1500 people every year are injured by flying corks. He suggests people point the bottle 45 degrees away from themselves or anyone else in the room.
