I-30 Won't Be Ready For New Cowboys Season

It looks like the traffic on I-30 through Arlington will be worse than you could have ever imagined when the new Cowboys stadium opens later this year.
TxDot's been hustling to get the improvements to I-30 done before the stadium opens, but they now say it doesn't look like that's going to happen.  TxDot's Val Lopez says re-working I-30 has been a major project with major challenges.
Lopez tells KRLD it won't be a new, modern highway until at least late 2010 meaning season 1 at the new stadium could be a traffic nightmare.  The project began in the fall of 2007 and will cost about 165 million dollars by the time its all done.
