 iPhone and iPod Touch users can get Newsradio 1080 KRLD wherever they go - for free - with the AOL Radio application.
In your iPhone, go to the App Store, and search for AOL Radio. This free application gives iPhone users access to KRLD, as well as all of the streaming CBS Radio stations in America and 200 AOL audio channels.
Once downloaded and installed, launch AOL Radio and touch the "Locals" button in the lower right corner. The application will ask to use your current location. Click "Okay," and you'll be given your choice of the various CBS Radio stations in the North Texas area. Touch Newsradio 1080, and you'll be connected with KRLD's online stream.
If you are outside the North Texas area, you can touch the "Stations" button in the lower left corner. Scroll through the list until you see "CBS Radio." All of our streaming stations are listed alphabetically, so look for "Newsradio 1080." Once selected, you can choose that station as a "Favorite," so you won't have to search more than once.
