OMG, seriously?? All the real issues we have with teenagers and thats what they want to focus on. It's ridiculous and they might want to deal with the real issues, drugs, sex and bullying. But that will take effort and isn't easy to tackle.
thank goodness i can listen online
By Clare on 09/24/2009 7:32PM
i just happened to be listening from my Itunes in New Orleans. I lived in Dallas for a long time and listen occasionally. Tonight, I am surprised to hear of the possible terrorism in Dallas. Sadly, its not being reported on the major news stations or here locally. Bone chilling. God speed to Dallas.
Scott Braddock Obama
By Thomas on 07/24/2009 2:37PM
Hey you Jamoke. You may be able to fool the stupid people by stopping the the Obama clip at "stupidly" but if you play the next segment you'll see that he said that arresting the guy after he showed his ID was stupid. You are a Moron Mr. Braddock

Stop talking about how the economy was Bush's fault. Obama's admin seems to want to just grow government and inhibit free market forces. Long term jobs are not created by government, they are created by small business. Let the market do it's job.
the terrorists at gitmo
By Charles in Rockwall on 05/21/2009 6:46PM
Anyone who says it's ok for the terrorists to be brought to the United States should have them placed in THEIR communities. Keep them out of North Texas. Thank you very much.
Guantanamo
By Robyn on 05/21/2009 6:45PM
If no one has ever broken out of one of our maximum security prisons, then what's the big deal? If we can handle murderers and child rapists in our prisons then why can't we keep terrorists locked in there as well? I don't see the problem.
credit cards
By Sheronda on 05/20/2009 6:55PM
if they EVER write a credit card contract in language that ANYONE can understand, then I could get it when some people blame the consumer. that's not how creit cards work. They are deliberately misleading.
Credit Cards
By Matthew in Fort Worth on 05/20/2009 6:54PM
What ever happened to personal responsibility? I only use my credit card for emergencies, but so many people get one and use it like it's just extra income. I think people need to take the time to read the fine print so that they'll know what they're getting into and if they don't then it's their fault if they feel screwed.
Credit Card Protections
By Scott Braddock on 05/20/2009 6:52PM
Do you think the credit card companies or people who signed contracts they didn't understand are more to blame for credit card problems?
Terrorists
By Jacob in Plano on 05/20/2009 6:49PM
I think that the President might be well intentioned in his desire to close the prison camp. It has become a source of shame for the United States. However, the problem is we don't have anywhere else we can send these very dangerous people without putting all our lives in jeopardy. The problem is the former President, Mister Bush, left us with a no win situation on so many fronts that President Obama is going to have no good options on many issues.
Gitmo
By Bob on 05/20/2009 6:10PM
hell no! President Obama needs to stop this ridiculousness and do what's right to protect the American public, rather than what's good for his political career.
Gitmo
By Scott Braddock on 05/20/2009 6:09PM
Do you agree with President Obama's push to close the prison for terror suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba?
Illegal immigrants
By Hector on 05/19/2009 6:59PM
I am an hispanic american whose family came here the right way. If people can't wait in line for their turn then they SHOULD be sent back to wherever they came from, whether it's Mexico or China, or Germany or whatever.
Illegal Immigration
By Reginald in Dallas on 05/19/2009 6:18PM
I think that if people are here just trying to feed their families, that's completely different than someone who is here to distribute drugs (poison!) in our communities or spread gang violence. There are so many people here doing the work that American citizens won't do that it's hypocritical for people to say "send em home" when what's really needed is a system that allows workers to be here if they'll actually DO THE JOB!!! Let's have some common sense people!
Sure, why not?
By Roger on 05/19/2009 6:18PM
Because of decades (yes, decades) of lax border enforcement, there are simply too many illegal immigrants here to effectively round up all of them. The best approach is to catch them doing something else that is illegal, and send them home when they're caught.Make no mistake, this isn't about that "preserving families of illegal immigrants" nonsense. This is simply PRACTICAL. An immigration drag-net is about as practical as trying to cut a steak with a ladle.
Illegals
By Sam in Frisco on 05/19/2009 6:16PM
I think that ALL illegal immigrants should be deported. Why is Obama deciding which laws to enforce? Enforce ALL laws or we have no sovreignty!!!
Illegal Immigration
By Scott Braddock on 05/19/2009 6:14PM
Do you agree with the Obama Administration's push to crack down on illegal immigrants who commit crimes in the US rather than crack down on illegal immigrants who otherwise abide by the law?
Agree with Wally
By Matt on 05/18/2009 6:37PM
You could look at a Glamour magazine and see more of a real person than you could with this thing. It almost looks like a cartoon. I'm waiting for the day when we are all getting on the plane with nothing but a smile.
The danger here...
By Sam in Fort Worth on 05/18/2009 6:21PM
...is we may all be giving up our right to privacy in order to gain a sense of security that is TOTALLY false. Who are these people saying that it's going to make us safer: The government. That's who. They can't get anything right and now we trust them to look at our naked bodies? I think not.
Body Scanner
By Wally on 05/18/2009 6:10PM
Really you can't get any better look at any erotic zones with one of these things than if you had your clothes on, so that's not an issue. The problem is it's likely going to be LESS safe in the long run. While you can scan the whole body, unless you look very closely at every person coming through you're going to miss things. The metal detector has a noise to alert you when something's not right. The same cannot be said for the whole body scan. Unless you have the sharpest people around (and it's the TSA we're talking about, so that's not likely) you're going to have less secure planes.
It seems like...
By Jared on 05/18/2009 6:07PM
...the women on this board have more of a problem with the pictures the machines are taking, and I respect that. But, if the TSA says these machines are making us all safter in the skies, I think it's probably worth it.
Agree with Laura
By Jessica in Plano on 05/18/2009 6:05PM
If some perv is going to be looking at my body with this thing, I'd rather have better security in other areas than this. What is it about me being naked on a screen that makes the plane safer? Sounds like someone with too much time on their hands.
Body Scanner
By Laura on 05/18/2009 6:02PM
If it makes me look naked then NO NO NO!!! I can't believe people are so willing to give up their privacy for a false sense of security. This is America!
Body Scanners
By Melvin on 05/18/2009 5:59PM
Yes they do make us safer. If they can catch a terrorist with something that makes me look naked, what do I care as long as I get where I'm going safely?
Body Scanning
By Scott Braddock on 05/18/2009 5:58PM
Do you think the body scanning technology used at DFW and other big airports makes us safer? Is it an invasion of privacy?
Voter ID Argument
By Mike on 05/15/2009 5:58PM
Wally, you obviously don't have any idea what it's like to take care of an elderly person. My 94 year old grandmother still wants to be able to vote and traveling anywhere is extremely difficult for her. If we get her to the polls and she's forgotten her ID it's going to be way too hard on her to go back home and back to the polls again. Do you really want a woman who raised four of this nation's veterans to be denied her right to vote while Republicans go on a witch hunt for illegal immigrant voting? Shame on you.
Voter ID
By Wally on 05/15/2009 5:47PM
To Denton Guy: If your grandma can get to the polls to vote, she can get to the DMV to get a driver's license. May I remind you there are other forms of ID other than just a driver's license that are acceptable. Stop making excuses - it's really not that much to ask.
Why not Voter ID?
By Steve in Dallas on 05/15/2009 5:04PM
I'll tell you why. Because there has never been a single case of voter impersonation prosecuted in Texas. Why make things harder on older folks who don't drive? This is bogus.
Voting
By Barb on 05/15/2009 4:59PM
If there are people who can't show a photo ID, can the state just give them one so that they can vote AND we can keep all these illegals from voting? I think it's just common sense to ask people to prove they are who they say they are.
Voter ID
By Denton Guy on 05/15/2009 4:55PM
My grandmother is elderly and does not drive. She has no photo ID. Is she going to be locked out of the process so that some people can feel good that they're doing the right thing?
Voter ID
By Sara on 05/15/2009 4:54PM
If people have to show their photo ID to get on a plane, rent a movie, etc, why shouldn't they have to do that to vote?? Crazy.
Voter ID
By Ron on 05/15/2009 4:53PM
Yes! You have to have an ID to do anything else, right? Why would we want to allow people who might not be who they say they are to vote. Put me down for "yes."
Voter ID
By Scott Braddock on 05/15/2009 4:52PM
We'll talk about a voter ID law tonight. Do you think photo ID should be required to cast a ballot in Texas elections?
Reed is wrong
By Jeff on 05/08/2009 6:40PM
I think Reed is wrong. We should be more concerned about the bill of rights! And if the legislature does this, it would be the first thing they did this year that mattered.
Red Light
By Reed on 05/08/2009 4:01PM
I think the threat of getting a ticket is enough to help keep people a little safer. They don't have all the bugs worked out yet but I think this is better than nothing for now. But I do agree with Wally on the third party comment...the state should take them over and run them.
