Alligator Found In East Fort Worth (Photo)

Last week's storms and flooding are behind the ten foot critter found in east Fort Worth. It was a call to Fort Worth police that brought game wardens to Trinity Boulever and Bell Spur on Saturday where someone discovered a ten foot alligator.   Game Warden Captain Neil Bieler says that gator had been hit by a vehicle after winding up on the roadway.  The injured gator had to be put down at the scene.  Bieler says it's not an unusual call for them. Alligators are more active in the rainy, spring season.
