Players, Cowboys Fans Restore Stolen Memorabilia To Mentally Disabled Man

A lousy story now has a pretty good ending, thanks to some Dallas Cowboys and their fans.  One the team's biggest fans is a mentally-challenged man from Addison, Butch Franklin, who was victimized by stone-hearted thieves who broke into his room and stole some of his most prized possession including Cowboys memorabilia like a signed Tony Romo poster and a team-autographed photo of Texas Stadium.  Franklin, who is 53 but has the mental faculties of a nine-year-old, was devastated.  But now, some Cowboys players and fans contributed to replace what he lost and then some.  Yesterday, Franklin was also thrilled to meet players Cory Proctor and Bradie James.   There was also a table filled with autographed pictures, posters and trading cards.  He also received a new Number 9 jersey because Franklin really loves to wear Tony Romo's number.
