Southfork Tea Party Expected To Draw 50,000 to Protest Big Government

Independence Day will see hundreds of Big Government protests in virtually every state and the biggest will likely be the one at Southfork Ranch in Collin County.  Organizers of the Southfork Tea Party hope to have 50-thousand people show up to celebrate the nation's independence and to protest the direction the country is moving under the Obama administration.  They're dubbed Tea Parties in reference to the tax-protesting Boston Tea Party staged by American colonists in 1773.  This year on April 15th, Tea Parties in 750 cities drew a third-to-a-half million Americans showing their distaste for government regulation, high taxes and runaway federal spending.  Among the celebrities expected at Southfork tomorrow are conservative writer Michelle Malkin and musician Mickey Dolenz, the former drummer and vocalist for the 1960s band The Monkees.
