According to an article in today's edition of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram the best airfare deals of the summer may be over. The paper quotes AAA as saying that about 37 million Americans will travel this Fourth of July weekend. That's almost 2% fewer than last year. The Star-Telegram also quotes Tom Parsons of the Arlington based travel site BestFares.com as saying the airlines have reduced their capacity again, so it is now more in line with demand. Therefore, bargain flying is over. Parsons says "we will still be able to fly cheaply, just not at the best price we’ve seen this summer."
