After 3 weeks of striking Bell Helicopter union members rally against replacement workers being brought into the plants. With no scheduled bargaining sessions striking workers say Bell is bringing in additional help.
Tom Wells , chairman of United Aerospace Workers Local 218 says he counted 10 vans of replacement workers arriving this morning. He says Bell management is running ads and sending flyers to homes trying to persuade the nearly 25-hundred union members to accept the latest offer. No comment yet from the company.
The union has rejected Bell's contract offer including wage increases and a ratification bonus.
