A 9-year-old Fort Worth girl drowned while swimming at Joe Pool Lake this weekend.
Vanessa Sandoval's death Saturday was ruled an accident, according to the Dallas County medical examiner’s office.
Vanessa's and her sister went swimming, according to Grand Prairie police Detective John Brimmer when the sister says that she yelled for help after she felt Vanessa pulling her under.
