Dallas police have made an arrest in the murder of a mother of three and grandmother who was leaving church.
Mary Jane Rivers was arrested yesterday after witnesses gave a description her and her car to police. Witnesses saw the woman get out of a car on Grand Avenue, walk up to McQueen and shoot her at close range.
Police say Rivers and Brenda McQueen had an ongoing dispute and Rivers is accused of gunning down McQueen outside Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Grand Avenue near Fair Park.
