Dallas city inspectors have signed-off on the air conditioning system at the Barclay Square Apartments in Pleasant Grove. The residents have complained the air conditioning hasn't worked right for the last three weeks and that residents have been forced to sleep outside. Earlier this week an attorney for the Barclay Square owners said the air conditioning has been fixed. James Martin says his City Code Compliance inspectors went out this morning to find the apartment temperatures acceptable. And if the afternoon heat proves oppressive inspectors will go out and check the apartments based on availability.
While tenants took the owners to court a judge said it's a city code dispute, not a matter for the courts.
