Flu Continues To Close Schools In North Texas

The flu continues to take a toll on classroom time.
Trinity Christian Academy of Addison has cancelled classes for the rest of the week  due to a high number of absences.
Two Texas school districts remain shut down today due to illness-related absences.   The Huntsville ISD plans to reopen tomorrow after every school is sanitized by custodians.  Nearly a fourth of the Huntsville students and teachers are out sick.
And in southeastern Henderson County, near Athens the La-Poynor ISD is closed for the rest of the week.   16% of the district's 500 students are on the sick list.
