Police Warning Parents Over Incident In Rowlett

An incident in Rowlett brings a warning to parents to protect their children. Yesterday morning a man in a pickup tried to lure a 10-year old Rowlett girl into his truck, repeatedly telling her "get in the car."  She refused, and the guy gave up.  Detective Pam Mauri asks for help finding the red Toyota pickup, with a dent in the right rear passenger side.  She urges kids to walk to school with other kids or an adult.
Anyone with information should call Rowlett Police at 972 412 6220.
