Mayor Says Economic Cloud Looms

The Mayor of  Arlington in a State of The City address says a new economic cloud looms ahead.  Mayor Robert Cluck says his city is weathering the recession as well as can be expected, seeing some improvement in the number of residential foreclosures.  But is experiencing an increasing number of commercial foreclosures.  He says Arlington normally sees 1 or 2 commercial foreclosures  a month.   Now that's climbing to 10 or 12.   Cluck says robust activity at the new Cowboys Stadium is boosting city revenues.   He expects a November or December announcement on the possible sale of the Texas Rangers.
