Downpours Cause Flooding Across North Texas

Torrential rains have streams out of their banks in Kaufman County this morning. Last night's downpours also caused flooding in a couple of  homes in Celina along with street flooding in Tarrant and Dallas counties. In Kaufman County this morning, bar ditches are full and small streams over their banks in a 25-miles stretch from Rosser to Terrell. In Greenville, there were multiple reports of street flooding with two-to-three feet of water reported in some places. In Denton County, near Aubrey, water flooded the intersection of Highway 377 and Sherman Drive. And Late Sunday night, Azle police closed down the intersection of Jacksboro Highway and F-M 730 where at least one driver had to be rescued as the water rose. The storms were accompanied by vivid lightning displays.
