Take Your Dog Trick-or-Treating Tonight

A Wuf-o-ween event tonight will help the Metroplex Animal Coalition's spay/neuter program for pets in low-income families. Dogs in Halloween costumes can go trick-or-treating through the "suites" at Wuf Pet Resort, enter a costume contest and have their photos taken. Owners will be treated to cocktails, wine and barbecue. The event runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Cost is $10 per person, with proceeds benefiting the coalition. Wuf Pet Resort and Spa is at 3417 East Carpenter Freeway (near the old Texas Stadium) in Irving. RSVP to 972-785-2983, or e-mail wufatus@wufspa.com. For more information, go to: http://www.wufspa.com. If you can't attend, but still want to support MAC's spay/neuter program, go to http://www.MetroplexAnimalCoalition.org, click on "donate," and select the "Patt Davis Memorial Spay/Neuter Fund."
